Ron Paul's Approach on Iran and Foreign Wars
65Our Recent History
The attack of 9/11 was predicted years ago by plenty of people. Ron Paul predicted it in 1998 when he stated that Bill Clinton called for a series of bombing runs in Iraq. 400,000 children died, and yet they are the terrorists? I don't want to create an idea where you might believe that I don't think that the people on the 2 planes, or the people in the trade towers, weren't worth being extremely upset about; my focus is that all of us were pointing the finger at the wrong people. Does anyone remember news broadcasts from 1998 talking about our airstrikes in 1998 or anyone telling us why they were necessary?
During the Cold War era we setup middle eastern groups, particularly Bin Laden's Al'Qaeda, with weapons and our special operations forces trained them to be the front line of defense against Russia(USSR during that time). We empowered Hussein to create a bond with these people in order to establish relations that would allow us, the United States, to gain exports from them; more precise would be the oil reserves. We empowered a group of nations and radical groups and then... we bombed them. Anyone wonder why they attacked us? No, because you think you know the answer, they hate us and our "freedom".
Taliban isn't Al'Qaeda per se in that they aren't what you think of as a active terrorist group running around the world trying to shut down the United States. The Taliban was a theocratic uprising to overthrow the government and create a Theocracy; or religious-based government. This government ran their country per their religious doctrine and some people didn't like it; so we killed them. We overthrew a theocratic government because it went against our politicians taste and they blasted the mainstream media with, "they hate us."
Something even better to talk about is the man who lead us through this war, who impassioned us into believing it was a just war, George Bush. Claiming WMD's and Iraqi influence for the Al'Qaeda so that we would kill them. What I want you to see is what he said after we realized, the American people anyway, that there were no WMDs. George Bush is laughing, along with his rich friends, about "Whoops, I guess they aren't over there!". WHAT ABOUT THE AMERICAN SOLDIERS YOU SENT TO THEIR DEATH COUPLED WITH A COUNTRY'S INNOCENT CIVILIANS FALLING PRAY TO YOUR BULLSHIT WORLD-ELITE CAMPAIGN!?
Ron Paul
Ron Paul's View on War in Middle East
Ron Paul see's what is going on. His view is that we have OBVIOUSLY invaded other countries and setup Ponzi governments that will obey us. In return for this obedience these false officials of a country are given money and a promise of guaranteed exportation so they can keep their economy above water. If you put yourself in that country's shoes you can easily see that you would hate America, not Americans, as well.
Ron Paul takes on the "no shit" philosophy that if you let countries handle their own business they aren't necessarily going to try and invade our country. Ron Paul is not saying that we should cut off ties, he is not saying that we shouldn't talk to them about what they are doing, and he is certainly not saying that we shouldn't trade with them. What Ron Paul is saying is that it should be absolutely obvious that invading another's homeland and making them setup governments that our politicians approve of isn't necessarily the most brilliant plan to have foreign countries like us.
If you have seen Beautiful Mind you have heard of John Nash Jr. An astonishing mathematician that revolutionized economics in a way that describes economics as: if every individual within a collective contributes to making themselves better while keeping the whole in mind then that will create the greatest rewards. Of course, I paraphrased it, but the gist of it is the same concept that the founding fathers have and what Ron Paul is supporting. In a micro-economic setting in terms of a world view, if free-market capitalism and the right to pursue happiness without harming others is left to the individuals then that absolutely offers the highest rewards for the collective. American would be better off managing itself in this way without an overbearing-"American is too stupid to make its own decisions"-government.
